Warren – Barbara L. (Bourne) Campbell, 78, of Summit Drive, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Madeline (Nadeau) Bourne, she had lived in Seekonk, MA for 34 years before moving to Warren 11 years ago.
Mrs. Campbell graduated from Katherine Gibbs School. She was a secretary for Nicholson File before becoming a legal secretary for Rhode Island Legal Services, retiring in February 1997.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah C. Bellows and her husband, John of Pawtucket; one son, James D. Campbell and his wife, Lee of Little Compton; three sisters, Marilyn Green of Rehoboth, MA, Carolyn Hindle and Virginia Pearson, both of Warren; four grandchildren, Meghan and Martha Bellows and Lukas and Silas Campbell; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late John R. Campbell.
Her funeral will be private. Burial will be in Hunt Cemetery, Rumford.
