Dear Ron, Elaine and family, My deepest sympathy to all of you. Mary Sienco called and told us about Chris. I just couldn't go to the wake or funeral.
I have fond memories of Chris when he went to Henry Winters School. I only say him a few times after that. He was a fine young man and a product of a great family. Please forgive me for not attending his services. You are in my prayers. John Kanakry

We are so sorry to hear about Chris. Since I first met Chris in high school through his cousin Derek, he was and always remained a kind, intelligent, fun-loving person with whom I spent many good times. I remember talking about Boston Sports or Tolman hockey at his grandmother's house or with his uncle Ed, aunt Kiva and cousin Derek. I will miss Chris but have many wonderful memories of a person who lived life to the fullest. We are sorry for your loss. Tim and Alison Carey

On behalf of my wife, Mayda (Contreras)and I, we would like to extend our deepest condolences to the Gauthier Family. The news of Chris' passing has deeply saddened us. Please know that we all loved him. We will always have the Tolman High memories of his contagious laughter that brought us so much happiness. Chris, you inspired us all then and now. As the Lord receives you in his glory, our prayers are with your family. We regret that we can not be there to express our sympathies personally.

Ron and Elaine,
I was sad to hear of Chris' death. As a member of the extended Syrian side of the family I would often hear of Chris' successes from my mother, Rose (Nadeem) Thompson, Aunt Sophie, his Uncle Ed at the dry-cleaners or from Ron. Unfortunately, Chris' path and mine did cross often, but on the times they did he was very warm and welcoming. It is clear he squeezed the most out of every minute of his short life.

my deepest sympathies,

John Thompson

Mr. & Mrs., Gauthier, Stephanie, Bryan, Nicholas, & Leila,

Our hearts are with you as you say goodbye to your beloved Chris. You are such a wonderful family and Chris was surrounded by that love and laughter his whole life. And what a life he lived, he didn't take anything for granted and it showed. Your home was like a second home for a lot of us growing up and Chris (like any big brother) would tease and torture accordingly! As sad as we are we will always smile when we think of and tell stories about "the Godfather"!

To the Gauthier Family, My sincerest condolences on the loss of your son and brother. I've known Chris for 13 years or so here at Fidelity. I am so lucky and glad to have known him. I will miss the animated conversations he and I would have about the Sox and Pats. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We have some great memories of fun times with Chris. He took our sons on their first-ever convertible ride one beautiful summer day - Chris and 5 year old twins cruising the streets of Little Compton. Chris was an inspiration to us; a smart, sweet, funny, and savvy guy. He made his mark. Our thoughts are with you all.

Heartfelt condolences to the Gauthier family. As Chris's Fifth Grade teacher I can attest to his wonderful personality, work ethic, sense of humor, ever-present optimism, and consider myself lucky to have known him. His accomplishments after leaving Henry J Winters were not at all surprising to me. I always knew he'd succeed at whatever he attempted......(And thanks again Chris for the autographed baseball.)

Mr. & Mrs Gauthier, Stephanie, Bryan and the entire Gauthier Family,

I cannot find the words to express how truly and deeply sorry Jeff and I are and hope you can find comfort in knowing that Chris was loved by so many people and our thoughts and prayers are continuously with you all. Chris held a very special place in my heart and was one of my very close and best friends. He wasn't only a friend to me, but to all who he encountered. Just the public outcry alone speaks volumes of how many lives he touched and affected. I know he's in a better place but I cannot seem to let go. I love you, Christopher!! You will always be in my heart.

Chris, you left behind a legacy not likely to be matched. Your heart was bigger than most. Your zest for life an inspiration. Your mischievous ways absolutely unparalleled to any other. You were a special young man who touched the Warnock family in so many ways, but particularly my life. You made me a happier person. Thanks for all the good times. The pleasure has been all mine. xoxo d.

p.s. don't start taking over up there and getting my brother and dad into trouble, too!
