Denise,
Saddened to read about your father's death, but so interested to learn what a rich and productive life he had. Our state was fortunate to have had his contributions.

Panichas Family:
I don't know where to begin to express my feelings to you on the passing of your husband, father, grandfather and brother? I have known George for most of my adult life along with Denise and Joan. He is the kind of man that made this country free and prosperous. We have lost a role model, pioneer and public servant. My heart breaks and grieves for you. May God give you comfort in this most difficult time.
Respectfully submitted,

While taking my morning walk in the park, I couldn’t help but reminisce about my experiences with Mr. Panichas, the smile never leaving my face. While growing up with Denise I remember enjoying those conversations over cups of tea at the kitchen table. Mr. P was always interested in my family, school work, social life, even if he did quiz me on the pronunciation of complicated Greek names. Denise and I were treated to a memorable celebratory graduation dinner at Anthony’s Pier 4 in the Cape and Mr. P was somewhat surprised that we had ordered almost everything on the menu including a bottle of wine, but what about those fresh strawberries and whipped cream, eh Denise? Mr. P wrote my job recommendation when I applied to Rhode Island College and was there for me again when I needed information regarding my ailing father. I believe one of the ways we achieve eternal life is through the memories our loved ones carry with them. If that is the case, Mr. Panichas, you will live forever. Much love and sympathy to Denise and her entire family.
